Harold E. Glass, PhD
President and CEO

Harold E. GlassDr. Harold Glass has more than twenty years of international experience in business and in the pharmaceutical industry. He is a professor of Health Policy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and senior research fellow at the Centre for Evidence Based Policy, Kings College, University of London.  Dr. Glass is the founder of DataEdge, LLC, which he sold in 2001 to IMS Health.   He currently owns TTC, LLC, whose clinical trial cost benchmarking and analysis databases are the largest in the world. Dr. Glass has spoken and published widely in the areas of pharmaceutical drug development and marketing. He received his Bachelors Degree in Economics and Political Science from California State University; followed by the completion of a Master's of Science Degree in International Economics from the London School of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 


Holly Squires
Senior Vice President, Administration

Holly SquiresHolly Squires is one of the founders of TTC. She worked at DataEdge, Dr. Glass’s first clinical trial cost benchmarking company for five years as manager of client services. After the sale of DataEdge to IMS Health, Holly joined the pharmaceutical company Pharmacia, working in its Global Budgeting/Business Analysis group. In 2002 she brought her international experience (extensive world clinical development work, and tri-lingual ability, German, French and English) and industry expertise to the founding of TTC. The robust product offerings, savvy user interface and the responsive customer service culture at TTC can be attributed to Holly. Additionally, the sales and client management structure was created under her leadership to support the rapid growth of TTC. Holly currently serves as Senior Vice President, Administration providing oversight to the international TTC team. Holly is highly regarded in the industry, having spoken on a wide range of topics related to clinical trial outsourcing, budgeting and cost management. Holly received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Vermont in German.


Charlotte Ave
Vice President, Data Services

Charlotte AveCharlotte Ave was a twenty year registered nurse both in Europe and the United States before becoming involved with clinical grant costing. Charlotte’s experience at Pharmacia and Kendle both uniquely prepared her to manage the Data Services Department at TTC for the past 10 years.  She’s worked in start-up business analysis groups where she was responsible for developing processes to streamline global investigator grant costing and performance benchmarks.  Additionally, she’s been accountable for budget forecasting and leveraging benchmarking tools.  Charlotte was also the Client Manager, responsible for data quality control at Data Edge/ PICAS, the first company headed by TTC principle Harold Glass. Charlotte graduated with a Registered Nursing degree in Arnhem, the Netherlands.


Ying Jiang
Director, Client Operations

Ying JiangYing Jiang joined TTC, LLC in 2005.  Her rapid climb to the Client Operations Director position resulted from Ying’s expert command of forecasting and budgeting for global clinical trial investigator costs and investigator initiated studies.  Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Ying leads TTC’s forecasting and budgeting efforts in emerging global markets such as China and India. Additionally, Ying ensures each TTC client is trained and supported to their expectation; and works with clients on various initiatives from cost containment strategies, streamline forecasting and negotiating process.  Ying’s efforts to share best practices in the industry are best exemplified in TTC’s excellent retention rate. Ying received her Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. 


Marie Johnston, CPA, MBA
Director, Operations and Finance

Marie Johnston

Marie Johnston joined TTC, LLC in 2009 after a progressive career in Accounting.  Coming to TTC as the Associate Finance Director, Marie’s experience received while employed as an accountant for a local CPA firm instilled solid accounting and financial skills that helped her implement innovative tracking processes within TTC.  Her business savvy skills can be attributed to not only hands on experiences but also the excellent training from Keller Business School of Management, where she obtained her Master's in Business Administration with concentration in International Business.  TTC has extended her accountabilities to oversee Operations, including Human Resources and Marketing, along with full oversight of the Accounting and Finance Department.  Her strong project management and problem solving skills are fully realized in her role at TTC, a leading global leader in clinical trial cost benchmarking.


Laurence G. Poli
, Ph.D., MBA
Vice President, Business Development

Laurence G. PoliDr. Laurence G. Poli joined TTC, llc in 2008 as Vice President, Business and Product Development after an extensive pharmaceutical marketing and teaching career.  Over the past 20 years, he has worked with marketing teams in major pharmaceutical corporations including AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Solvay, Merck, Wyeth and Johnson & Johnson, while serving as a sought after lecturer on the future of pharmaceutical marketing in the U.S. healthcare system. Dr. Poli is an adjunct professor of pharmaceutical business at the Mayes College, University of the Sciences.  He graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and earned an MBA in Economics and Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  His doctoral research was conducted at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
